Community Events

Sponsoring an event is more than just donating money, it's showing support for the communities we serve. That's what community banking is all about. Traders and Farmers Bank is proud to contribute to a place we love so much that we call it home.

Jr's Leadership Group

High School Leadership Program

Traders and Farmers Bank annually sponsors a High School Jr's Leadership Club. The club consists of Junior's from Haleyville, Winston County, Meek, Phillips, Lynn, and Curry High Schools. These students are exposed to various community leaders and speakers who will broaden their horizons and scope of career choices.

Law Enforcement Appreciation

Local Law Enforcement Appreciation

Being an officer of the law takes someone with a special constitution and a desire to be a public servant. At Traders and Farmers Bank we appreciate their service. We were pleased to offer a small token of our appreciation, to officers in Bear Creek, Haleyville, Double Springs, Lynn, Arley, Addison as well as the Winston County Sheriff’s Department. Thank you for keeping our communities safe!

Cancer Awarness

Supporting Cancer Awareness

We celebrated all breast cancer survivors and their families by wearing pink to raise awareness and money for breast cancer research and support. Our Team Members donated $5.00 (or more) and TFB matched those donations (and then some)!

Fall Food Drive

Fall Food Drive

At Traders and Farmers Bank, we were honored to collected non-perishable food donations at our branches in Addison, Arley, Bear Creek, Curry, Double Springs, Haleyville and Lynn from TFB Team Members and Customers! We are committed to giving back those in all the communities we serve.

WCAC

Supporting Art in Schools

The Winston County Arts Council provides music and art instruction for over 850 children throughout our county. Last year they spent more than $30,000 to provide over 500 hours of classroom instruction to 9 schools. Traders and Farmers Bank is a proud supporter of the WCAC by attending their annual fundraiser and donating for art supplies.

Local Christmas Parades

Local Holiday Celebrations

The Hometown Christmas Parade is an old-fashioned community event designed for the whole family - to celebrate the true meaning of Christmas and all it's glory! Our Team Members are proud to help welcome the Holiday Season by supporting numerous local Christmas Parades and light shows.  From buying presents for Angel Trees to donations for Toys-for-Tots, we want everyone to have a memorable and bright Holiday Season in all the communities we serve.
