Traditional IRA

• $100 to Open Account
• Under age 701/2 with earned income
• Contributions may be tax deductible
• Earnings tax deferred until withdrawn
• Withdrawals must begin at age 701/2 and may begin as early as 59 ½

Roth IRA

• $100 to Open Account
• Contributions are not tax deductible, instead earnings grow tax-free
• No required withdrawals
• No age limit on contributions as long as you have earned income
